Job Description

Salary: $102,000 - 142,000 per year Requirements:

• We require at least three years of experience planning, designing, and implementing security solutions.
• We require at least two years of hands-on experience configuring, deploying, troubleshooting, and operating security technologies.
• We require at least one year of experience in a technical leadership role, with or without direct reports.
• We require a bachelors degree in Computer Science, CIS, or a related field, plus at least six years of experience in an IT operations environment with technical exposure to distributed technologies, systems development, or networking.
• We may accept equivalent work experience in place of the degree requirement.
• We value familiarity with one dependent technology stack such as Windows administration, networking, or storage.
• We expect knowledge of performance scalability, stability, and capacity planning in complex enterprise environments.

• We monitor network and web server activity for security threats using intrusion detection methods.
• We manage file systems, install and maintain Epic application deployment platforms, and support production, reporting, disaster recovery, training, and non-production environments.
• We install and maintain administrative and monitoring tools that help ensure high availability and strong system performance.
• We configure and troubleshoot integrated third-party software and peripherals.
• We apply platform and Epic upgrades and updates to production and non-production web server components.
• We respond to emergencies and after-hours incidents as needed.
• We write, maintain, and improve scripts that streamline system administration tasks.
• We maintain and test business continuity processes.
• We participate in change control for planned application and technical work.
• We review performance metrics, monitor system behavior, and resolve technical issues.
• We collaborate with technical teams and the Epic vendor to provide proactive support and follow best practices.
• We plan, design, and build database systems that are stable, recoverable, and integrated with other technology stacks.
• We translate business and functional requirements into technical specifications for infrastructure systems.
• We serve as a technical liaison with business partners, solutions teams, and enterprise architects.
• We collaborate with database, operations, and technical support teams throughout development and implementation.
• We recommend technical solutions, evaluate risks and costs, and advise on infrastructure planning and architecture.
• We troubleshoot complex systems and help identify sustainable fixes.
• We verify that system designs align with architecture standards and lead implementation of enterprise infrastructure initiatives.
