Job Summary:

The Infrastructure Security Consultant will play a critical role in enhancing and securing the Government of Saskatchewan's IT infrastructure. This role involves leading cybersecurity efforts for the renewal and upgrade of critical information technology environments, supporting the Cybersecurity Maturity Program, and ensuring secure delivery of IT services to protect government and citizen data privacy.

Responsibilities:

• Lead cybersecurity aspects of upgrading and renewing government critical IT environments.
• Participate actively in the Government's Cybersecurity Maturity Security Program.
• Provide cybersecurity oversight for customer initiatives.
• Manage the retirement of legacy IT environments securely.
• Contribute to other information security, infrastructure renewal, and security architecture initiatives as assigned.

Required Skills & Certifications:

• Architecture certifications such as TOGAF, SABSA, or equivalent industry-recognized architecture certifications.
• Formal training in IT Design Methodology, Enterprise Architecture frameworks, and Solution Architecture methodologies.
• Qualifications aligned with QDF R1 and R2 are heavily weighted; R14 and R15 are assets.
• Demonstrated full-time experience in Information Technology related roles.
• Proven experience in solutions architecture and IT design.
• Experience performing Information Technology Architecture responsibilities.
• Must provide a minimum of three professional references.

Preferred Skills & Certifications:

• Experience with vendor-specific certifications or qualifications related to infrastructure security.
• Additional architecture or cybersecurity certifications beyond mandatory requirements.

Special Considerations:

• Onsite work required at the Government of Saskatchewan office in Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada.
• Consultant performance evaluations conducted at contract milestones or at ministry discretion.
• Resources submitted by more than one proponent will be disqualified.

Scheduling:

• Contract duration is one year starting October 2026, with options for extension up to two additional one-year terms or until project completion.
• Work arrangement is full-time onsite during regular business hours unless otherwise specified.
